My Blogging Dilemma

I have a dilemma.. a serious blogging dilemma. I have NO idea what to write about.

As mentioned in my previous post, ages ago, I have a topic tornado in my head. Well, truth be told, it is more of an emotion tornado going on. While I want to write about a few different homeschooling, travel and camping topics, that I have been working on for a while, I feel stuck in this vast sea of emotion currently going on in my life.

As many of you are aware, I am pregnant and expecting our 2nd little bundle of joy by the end of July. Any of you mothers out there, and probably most fathers as well, will well understand the emotional roller-coaster of pregnancy hormones. Add in a full time job and a 3 year old, and those emotional hormones can sometimes take over everything.

During this wonderful, yet hectic time, my mother is also in the final stages of metastatic colon cancer. She has recently moved into a long-term care facility, with 24 nursing etc. Though we are all grateful, and believe me it has come at exactly the right time, it is still hard to have her in a facility instead of home. Recently she has been unable to walk at all and that has also been an emotional blow to everyone.

To add to this emotional tornado, my grandmother is in hospital, where she had a heart attack and has been recently diagnosed with bronchitis. I tell you, sometimes I wonder who decides that everything needs to happen at once! REALLY.

So, dear readers, this emotional tornado has really made it difficult to pin down a topic to write about. I promise, I will get back on track.. if only for myself and my peace of mind. Thank you for sticking with me through all of this.

NOW.. back to work!
